Careers Information
At Springhallow School, we maximise the earliest opportunities to promote independence and preparation for adulthood as part of our curriculum offer and provision within Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
As part of the work-related learning offer, we promote opportunities for our learners to develop their experience in a range of working environments. This supports their development of skills and experience that will give them confidence and a sense of purpose for their future.
As part of Ealing SEND Hub (a partnership between Belvue, John Chilton, St Anns and Business Education Events (BEE) funded by John Lyons Charity), we support students across a range of areas such as transport, health care, and employability.
We offer many ‘in-house’ work experience opportunities within our cafe, shop, supporting site maintenance, and within the school reception. This in turn supports the opportunities ‘offsite’.
Both Springhallow School and Post 16 have developed a positive network of organsiations that offer their time and commitment to help students, alongside tailored career support from Connexions services. Our main focus is to develop each learner’s pathway to adulthood. As a school, we are always striving for more support so students have a choice of opportunities based on their interests and skills and ensure the needs of both the ’employer’ and ’employee’ are being met.
