Springhallow School – Class Teacher for Secondary or Post 16 Locations: Springhallow School, Compton Close, Ealing, London W13 0JG or Springhallow Post 16, 485 Greenford Road, Greenford, UB6 8SR Salary: *Mainscale 1 – 6, £34,502-£44,756, dependant on experience – plus SEN 1 allowance, £2,384 *September 2023 pay award to be applied Contract Term: Permanent Contract Type: Full Time Hours: 27.5 Closing date: 12 noon – Friday 23rd June, 2023 Interviews: Thursday 29th June, 2023 Job starts: September 2023 or January 2024 We are seeking a class teacher to join our Secondary or Post 16 department. This role is suitable to you if you have a desire and passion to work with children and young people with Autism and to help them to achieve their full potential. We will consider applicants with the necessary experience, including primary practitioners or Early Career Teachers. Springhallow School is a unique, all age (4-19), special school, for pupils with Autism and a centre of expertise in the field of Autistic Spectrum Disorders. Our Post 16 site is located in Greenford. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility and willingness to work with pupils across the age range. Experienced special, and mainstream, teachers are welcome and are encouraged to apply. The post will involve leading a supportive team within a class setting, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution at a key and exciting point in the development of the school.
